Host an Electoral Reform Dialogue in Your Community!

The special all-party committee on electoral reform has invited Canadians to offer their input in a concrete, easy and fun way: Host an electoral reform dialogue in your community and submit a short report from it to the committee. Please sign up below!

A dialogue can be as small as two or three people getting together for coffee or as big as a community town hall, and anything in between!

You can also conduct a dialogue at a meeting of an organization you are already involved in.

The government has provided a list of questions they would like feedback on. All you need to do is discuss the questions in your group, have someone take notes, and submit your report to the committee by October 7.

Fair Vote Canada can help you with anything you need, including:

- the questions and feedback form
- materials (printed material, videos, speakers) related to electoral reform in addition to what is on the government's new website if you would like to use it
- help with promoting your dialogue if you choose to make your dialogue open for others to join (you can also keep your dialogue private)

The committee wants to hear from Canadians about what values are important to them in a new electoral system. If many of us host these dialogues and submit our feedback, we can have a big impact!

Can you host a dialogue? Register here!

As we receive details of upcoming dialogues, we'll post them on this event page (it can be marked public or private).

Thanks for stepping forward to be part of the campaign to Make Every Vote Count!
