Sign up below to visit your MP about a National Citizens' Assembly on Electoral Reform!
There is an upcoming vote on the Procedures and House Affairs Committee (PROC). It is the last chance for progress on electoral reform in this minority Parliament. MP visits help ensure our elected representatives know that their constituents (you!) are paying attention to their party's actions!
Personal visits by constituents (even by Zoom!) are one of the most powerful ways to influence our MPs.
You don’t need to be an expert on electoral reform or citizens’ assemblies to do this! All you need to do is call your MP and schedule an appointment.
When you sign up to visit your MP:
- We’ll send you some basic materials to present to your MP at the visit and some visit tips.
- We’ll connect you with other people in your riding who signed up (depending on where you live, there may be a group of people, or it may just be you).
- Once an appointment time is booked, we’ll send out an invitation to other Fair Vote Canada supporters in your riding, to get as many constituents as possible to join you.
